More and more podcast creators are looking for affordable ways to make their product more unique without spending a lot of money on studio reconfiguration. We started brainstorming and searching for new angles in every corner of our small podcast studio in Kyiv. While cameras on tripods could be moved around the location as needed, lighting, being an essential element of any shoot, worked best where it was installed.
After numerous experiments with the space and rearranging furniture and equipment, we realized that we could save time on extensive setups and takedowns while still making each podcast shot in the same location unique. Our solution allows for saving time and effort while maintaining quality footage.
The foundation of our lifesaving solution consists of four key elements: the podcast logo on an LED panel, the color of the background lighting, decor (posters on the wall), and furniture. We decided to make these elements interchangeable and mobile, allowing for the studio to be customized for any project without additional costs to the client. The logos on the screen are always interchangeable, RGB lighting panels provide 360 color options, and mobile cabinets can be quickly moved in or out of the frame. The posters have become the conceptual centerpiece of new setups. We printed them on canvas and gave them code names so our clients could easily choose the right option.
